Comfort for a Grieving Friend

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come to You today with heavy hearts, lifting up our dear friend who is in the depths of grief. Lord, surround them with Your love and peace during this difficult time. May they feel Your presence like a warm embrace, guiding them through their sorrow.

Grant them the strength to navigate their emotions and the courage to lean on those who care for them. Help them find solace in Your Word and comfort in the memories they cherish. Let them know that they are never alone, for You walk beside them in every step of their healing journey.

We ask that You bring people into their life who can uplift and support them. May they find hope amidst their pain and allow Your light to shine through their darkest moments. In Your mercy, grant them peace, and may Your loving kindness restore their spirit.

In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.
