Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.

O LORD my God, I cried to You for help, and You healed me.

But He was pierced for our transgressions; He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds, we are healed.

For I will restore health to you and heal your wounds, says the LORD.

Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.

My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; for they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh.

The LORD will strengthen him on his bed of illness; You will sustain him on his sickbed.

Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.

And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

When the sun was setting, all those who had any that were sick with various diseases brought them to Him; and He laid His hands on every one of them and healed them.

But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits, who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases.

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

When we pray for healing, we invite the divine to touch our pain.

God's invasions are not always easy; He makes us wrestle with Him.

We must learn to regard people less in the light of what they do or omit to do, and more in the light of what they suffer.

Grace means there is nothing we can do to make God love us more; nothing we can do to make God love us less.

Jesus' healing power reminds us that God is not indifferent to human suffering.
