Finding Peace Through Forgiveness

Dear Heavenly Father,

In this moment of prayer, I come before you with a heavy heart, seeking your strength and grace. Lord, I find it hard to forgive the one who has caused me pain. Yet, your teachings remind me of the importance of letting go, just as you have forgiven my own trespasses.

Help me to see the person who hurt me through your eyes. Grant me the compassion to understand their struggles, and the wisdom to release the bitterness that weighs me down. Fill my heart with love instead of resentment, and grant me the courage to take the first step toward healing.

May I not dwell on past hurts, but focus on the peace that forgiveness brings. Surround me with your light, guiding me to a place of restoration and reconciliation. I trust in your plan and your perfect timing for all things.

Thank you for your unwavering love and for the grace that continually flows into my life. May I reflect that same grace towards others. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
